Hi there:
Well, I thought I should probably introduce myself, considering that I've made a few posts on the boards already!
I live in Washington state and absolutely love it here. One friend told me about the zone, but another twisted my arm until I grudgingly joined! I'm certainly glad that she did!
I have a wide range of interests. I am an avid reader of fantasy, although very open to other genres. David Eddings was my introduction to the incredible world of fantasy. I also enjoy writing, although I don't do that nearly as much as I should.
I have a love for music. From country to classical, religious to jazz, broadway to parody (go arrogant worms go!), relaxation to some dance, roc, pop, and a little R&B on the side covered with a sprinkling of alternative...hmm, I think I may have covered a fairly broad spectrum. I want to broaden my horizons. I enjoy the performance side of music as well. I have participated in choirs as well as performed solos in church and various other places. Oh, and who could avoid the lure of the karaoke bar?
I am also kind of a gamer gal. I have been mudding for four years or so and greatly enjoy it. I prefer muds that are more roleplay-oriented, which probably goes along with the whole fantasy thing. I have also played a few sessions of tabletop in an irc session, but I'd like to become more involved in that.
What else could I possibly cram in? ahh, my personality. I enjoy talking about a wide range of subjects and am respectful of other people's opinions. I am very empathetic and a good listener as well. I try to avoid drama bombs like one might avoid the plague.
I love to meet new people, and I gain strength from my close friends. I'm also pretty zany and am very quick to give a hug or enjoy a good laugh. Feel free to pm or qn me anytime! If you read through all of this, you are brave! I look forward to getting to know you!

Nice to meet you. I like fantasy also, but I lean more toward ordinary people like us having extraordinary situations, most particularly, experiments going wrong, or something making people age years with in a few days or hours, or people growing younger, or people finding out they are immortal and will live forever, or at least thousands of years. I am totally blind and have a soft bone disease, but that's another story. I am collecting a ton of old time radio shows on cds, mostly mystery and horror. I listen to cbs soaps in the day time, and browse some sites on the web, more increasingly, the project gutenbergs catalogue. Well, nice to meet you. Take care and have a good evening,
